Forced Firmware Update

When your Maker / Explore series machines has issues or stuck on update,

Please follow these step to forced update the firmware.

1.Turn off your Cricut machine

2.Turn off the Cricut Design Space

3.Turn on your Cricut machine

4.Ensure your machine is connected via USB to your Mac/Window

5.Turn on the Cricut Design Space

6.Hold down the power button, and the mat loading button (double arrow button) at the same time, until the power light becomes red. Then release.

7.Go to your menu bar at the top left of Design Space. (3 lines)

8.Select the Update Firmware

9.Follow the prompts to update until finished.
