Cricut machines enjoy 1 year of local carry-in warranty.
Procedure
1) Upon encountering operational difficulties, customers can call the following toll free number for troubleshooting.:

Mon to Fri, 9 am to 6 pm Hong Kong Time.
An English-speaking customer representative will answer the call.
2) Once the unit is confirmed faulty and is covered by warranty, you will be given a ticket number and Cricut Support will send you an email detailing the information you will need to include in order to process your replacement. Information normally required in your reply email:
Unit's Serial Number and the description of the Problem
Your Cricut Design Space login name
Your contact information (Name, Phone Number, Shipping Address)
A statement as follows:
"I agree that Cricut may share my contact information and shipping address with Cricut's third-party distribution partner, when necessary."
Attach purchase record (e.g. invoice or receipt)
A 1-take video showing Ticket Number, Unit's SN (on bottom), and the Problem itself (recommended to upload the video to a cloud service and attach the link)
3) If Cricut agrees to replace your faulty unit, they will inform you by phone and/or email. Your faulty unit will be disabled immediately. (Note that you will not be able to use your original, partly functioning, machine any more while waiting for the replacement.)
4) In the current arrangement, Cricut will inform the local distributor to contact you directly for replacement delivery Note that you are not required to send back the faulty unit. You are, however, required to disconnect the unit from the ac power, cut the power cord on the power supply and the black belt used to move the cutting head before disposing of the machine according to local waste disposal regulations.
